Beauty for the sake of Beauty

Sitting down to a business planning meeting as we were starting our business, we asked the question "why do we want to do floral design?".

Almost off-handedly Anna said "I just want to create beauty for the sake of beauty". 

​

We have come back to that point many times and have found just how true this statement is about what we love about flowers and the creation of designs. 

​

We are drawn in and inspired by the transendence and yet simple humility of flowers. They are beautiful just because they are. Even before we lay a hand to them, they inately have beauty just by being what the were created as. Flowers do not serve a functional purpose, they do not make your wedding flow more smoothly or cut your cake. Their purpose is only to be. They are beautiful just by being and thus with their presence, elevate everything around them. They magnify and transform an event to be a place of beauty and celebration. 

They, like you, are beautiful and elevating, just as you are, so perfectly made.

 

We love the natural beauty of flowers and we love the honor and distinction they bring to an event. We desire to do this work to bring beauty to you and to give glory to the source of all beauty, God.
